This isn't new, ebay and amazon started making each others apps and devices obsolete/incompatible years ago. Seller central on my pc and in chrome on my phone is working fine. The amazon site, appstore and the app itself agree that the current version is out of date, but that the out of date one is the current version and none other is available.
