Cisco Webex Meetings App Service Has Stopped Working. Problem using cisco webex on win 7 i am trying to use cisco webex to use my computer at home to get files for school. In my case, the webex meetings wouldn’t launch as it’s part of the chrome browser.
We use training center with the 'webex audio' service that integrates the voip and telephone lines. The only thing that disgusted me with this tool was when it stopped working for almost 1 week. I have a jabra pro headset.
Some of my users 'hosts' have been having the same issues, been very difficult to track down the source of the problem so far.
Luckily, there seems to be a workaround to make webex think you’re using ie10. From what i’ve read, you can download the software needed from webex and even try it out in their test environment and everything works out fine. Under the general tab, deselect start cisco webex meetings desktop app when windows starts. Chrome://extensions and then check the extention for webex meetings:
