Sometimes the developer pulls the app and the app store doesn’t realize it until minutes after the pull. Then launch the app and try again. It uses the same login as the itunes store and the iphone and ipad app store.

(in our experience, deleting is more effective than merely dragging it to the trash or by other methods.) within the launchpad, click and hold on the app icon, then click the black “x” icon that appears. Browse or search for the app that you want to download. Launch the app store app.
