Direct play in most cases this is the ideal way to stream. For the most part the server will stream whatever the client is requesting. After you have installed plex and organized all of your movie and tv collections, you need to tell plex how to deliver your content to all of the connected devices. If i use kodi as a client, the cpu’s on the server don’t even move, use the plex app or client and bang 100%.
