I have the hdmi in the arc hdmi port on the tv.
(i have no aerial access in this room.) the probelm is the apps. Try different cables to verify this is not a bad set of cables. There is no sound when using a tv or audio system with the arc/earc feature applicable products and categories of this article this article is designed to assist when the audio return channel (arc) or enhanced audio return channel (earc) feature is not working and both the tv and audio system are compatible with the arc feature.
