Sony Tv Apps No Sound. No sound from sony x950g tv speakers. I have a full sony ht but have never experienced anything like this when watching cable, so i assume it has to be the tv.
I have to manually turn off my receiver and back on in order to get sound. Like a alexkinch 1 reply 2 years ago 20 july 2018. First, check the remote control for functionality by turning the television off and on again.
I have absolutely no clue what it is with this tv as i cannot find any other posts with the same issue, but i'll be watching a movie or show on netflix, hulu, disney+ and out of nowhere, the sound just cuts out completely.
Make sure no headphones are connected to the tv. The only way to resolve seems to be unplugging the tv and plugging back in. (i have no aerial access in this room.) the probelm is the apps. Sony bravia android tv apps are not playing sound through sonos 5.1 system.
